Johan just sent me this remix and it is tiiiiiight. If you don’t know Johan, he is one half of Radioclit and one third of The Very Best, both of which you should check for. Johan’s sets are always on point – eclectic, tasteful and always with some surprises. He is also working with Kano on his new album.

I have to give props to djs who came up in hip-hop but branched out and evolved with time. Everyone (or at least I hope) knows A-Trak and DJ Mehdi but there are others out there who, in addition to being able to rock doubles and cut up records, can make serious dance floor heat. Grand Theft, who is also in Team Canada, is one of these double threats. Grab these very classy Grand Theft Remixes and look out for the Grand Theft remix of Munk’s “Down In LA” coming out on Plant in early 2010.
