Eli Escobar “Love Thing” Remixes + Free DJ Mehdi Download

Just in time for the New Year, Eli Escobar returns with the remixes of his stellar “Love Thing” EP which was a top 10 in 2010 for a lot of djs. The package features mixes by DFA’s Runaway, Ed Banger’s DJ Mehdi, Italians Do It Better’s Mike Simonetti and the one and only John Selway. Eli has also reworked Part 1 of “Love Thing” to wonderous effect. The remixes have been getting big support from across the spectrum of club music, from disco to electro-house djs, such as Holy Ghost!, Sir Khan, Sinden, Trevor Jackson, Armand Van Helden, Mixhell, Acid Jacks, The Aston Shuffle and Scottie B.

Also, Eli will be doing a New Year’s Eve edition of WORK at SubMercer alongside Lloydski for those that fancy a stress-free time with great music in a great room with great sound and  no cover.

Eli Escobar played the first half of the night alongside DFA’s Juan MacLean earlier this month. Here is a recording the first hour of his two hour set – crowd noise and all, which really captures the moment better than a board recording.

Arveene & Misk “Love and Lust” out today on iTunes.

Dublin’s Arveene & Misk’s “Love & Lust” featuring Steo Gunn drops today on iTunes so cop it. The Africans on Marz (Ashley Beedle & Darren Price) mix kills as does the heavily DJ’ed Tagteam Terror remix.

That’s right y’all. Your boy Jesse Tittsworth, international dj, club-owner and connoisseur of funky food and painful tattoos, has just dropped an EP of some of the choicest remixes from his 12 Steps album and beyond.  It contains Bit Thief’s super funky rework of “Almond Joy,” the UK’s Deekline & Tim Healey’s aggressive four to the floor take on “WTF” (featuring Kid Sister & Pase Rock), and Gavin Holland’s infectious rework of “B-Rockin.”  Other contributors include Berlin’s DJ Wool who pumps the acid with his dub mix of “Molly’s Party,” Dillon Francis (Mad Decent, Plant) who gives “911” a serious bass makeover, and Steve Starks who provides “Tear The Club Up” with a proper 2011 treatment. The CD is a full length and includes many of the previously released remixes like Nadastrom’s massive remix of “WTF” and Meterhead’s remix of “Drunk As Fuck.”

Grab a nice crisp 320kbps mp3 of “Almond Joy” (Bit Thief Remix)!
