We are back again this Wednesday for another edition of The Fun Haüs with our special guest Star Eyes and The Captain from Trouble & Bass. The party is now in the basement at Stay on Houston Street and the venue is great for this dirty little sweaty party. Residents Dom & Rok will be holding things down from the Plant Music end of things.

HeavyFeet (who have an amazing EP coming out on Plant later this month) have just launched a new project called ‘Manchester : Remixed.’ The project runs all of July and will see HeavyFeet remix eight of the current wave of great Manchester associated bands and songwriters over the four weeks. At the end of the project the remixes will presented on a remix special BBC Introducing radio show, and then the remixes will be made available for free download.

Eli Escobar returns with the spectacular new EP – “Desire” – which features the vocal stylings of Nomi Ruiz (Jessica 6 / Hercules and Love Affair). The EP contains the original, a great Re-Work by Eli himself and a sleek Dub by Beg To Differ of The Wurst Music Co. who are also releasing the 12″ in conjunction with Plant Music. To celebrate, we’re throwing a release party at the newly relaunched Fun Haüs with Nicky Digital at Stay (244 East Houston near Avenue A) and all the Plant crew – Eli Escobar, Dominique, and Rok One will be supplying the sounds while Nomi sips cocktails. And it’s free.
This Saturday, July 9th is the Plant Music edition of the summer’s best all-day pool party, featuring a bi-coastal clash of Plant’s Stretch Armstrong, Dom of The Glass and DKDS versus the SWS residents Cosmic Kids and DJ Rockwell. So grab your bathing suit and head to Le Bain at The Standard Hotel and be ready to dance while you swim. Guest list only so RSVP.
