Here’s a new mix from Swedish duo Dirtytwo.
They’re on a Stockholm based label called Local Talk who’ve been destroying it this past year with they’re solid and steady string of contemporary classic house/garage releases.
Plant Music/Illusive’s Clubfeet (from Melbourne, Australia) are gearing up for the release of their sophomore album early next year. They released this new song “City of Lights” as an exclusive 7″ / 45 and there are a couple of tasty remixes worth checking our. Both remixes come courtesy of fellow Australians, first up, the always beautiful, Softwar Remix and secondly newcomers Dublin Aunts. Grab them here for free download.
For Fall 2012 we focused on one thing – one thing that includes everything from heaven to hell and all in between. We’ve visited the WeActivists in their most private, inner and sometimes completely open spaces – to see where they find their inspiration, creativity and strength to keep on creating every day.
Stretch Armstrong lets us into the Submercer, Soho NYC – his version of church:
“This is not a bottle service cheesy spot were you are going to hear top 40 music, this is a place where real DJs come to play real music. This is a place where you play for the sanctuary of having just a great room with great people. Its kind of magic in that way. I guess in some ways it’s like church.”
