“On April 13, Aristocat + I (Sleeper) will attempt to run 100 miles over 4 days, directly to DJ at a special invite event outside Coachella, one of the largest music festivals in the nation.
We’ll be running through scorching deserts and mountain terrain during crazy summer heat. A bus where we rest + eat will meet us at certain check points with live video feed. The DJ sets will also be broadcast live.
Our goal is two-fold: raise $50,000 for Charity Water and show the world the physical potential of the average person. We are the farthest thing from a finely tuned athlete and neither of us has ever ran a marathon.
This run is inspired by the book Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. We’re all born to run!”
