Loose Shus, Get It?

Dave L. a.k.a. Loose Shus, is awesome.  He’s probably the only person I know that can rock a live set, run funky visuals, and talk about loop quantum cosmology all at the same time, which all things considered is not a bad skill set to possess.  It’s been a few months since he released his Taurus E.P. with us at Plant, so I figured I’d treat you all to a cut off the record.

You probably want to light some candles and dim the lights before you put this on.  It’s that sexy.

Check Dave’s page here, and pick up the full Taurus E.P. at Beatport.com. Mmmmmhmmmmmmm.

Bonus: Snag this unreleased remix of “Threesome” by our very own DJ Wool.

“A monster of a disco-funk tune”

Will Eastman Umbrella

Will Eastman’s first single “Feelin” is almost here. We’re very excited to be releasing his first foray into dance music, and what a banger it is. The reviews have started rolling in, with the first going to The Washington Post, who claim it’s “a monster of a disco-funk tune.”

“Feelin” will be available exclusively on Beatport this Friday, followed by iTunes and other digital media outlets on December 11th.

Casxio ‘Seventeen’ 12″ on Plant Music

Casxio-Seventeen-Album-Artwork

From Turntable Lab – “Casxio is a hot new dance-pop band out of LA, who years ago made the decision to live their lives without spell check (ok, I made the second half of that sentence up, but you can’t prove it’s NOT true). ‘Seventeen’ is a funky slice of indie dance, with lyrics that recall the good old days when dudes could sing love songs to very young women without catching a charge. If you like your drums a little more on the electronic side, check out the electro pop remixes from Skrillex or The Glass. Wrapping things up is ‘Something About Us’, which is a cover of Daft Punk’s mellow R&B-tronic number off of 2001′s Discovery. Excellent stuff from Plant Music once again.”
