Brodinski and Clark Kent on Delancey Music Service

The last month has been crackulatin’ Monday nights on East Village Radio.  On April 4th, Super DJ Clark Kent manned the decks and threw down a vintage set of house and club classics as only he can.  There is no set list, but he did play this, which is heavy!:

The following week, on April 11th, the young Frenchman Brodinski stopped by en route to Coachella and played a super classy set that touched on different genres but remained consistently awesome throughout, as well as charming.  What would you expect?

Both archives are available here, as well as the rest of the shows.

HOLY GHOST! GUEST ON DELANCEY MUSIC SERVICE

Tonight, DFA’s Holy Ghost! will be the featured guests on your favorite Monday night internet radio show, Delancey Music Service, on East Village Radio. We’ll chop it up a bit, talk about their greatest remixes cassette and then let them get on the decks to drop some gems.  Like Eli Escobar and myself, both members of Holy Ghost are born-and-bred New Yorkers so I’m sure we’ll end up in old-school hip-hop terrain and get all nostalgic. Check it out at 10pm on www.eastvillageradio.com.

STRETCH ARMSTRONG & ELI ESCOBAR WEEKLY RADIO SHOW

Yes, that’s right. The homie Eli Escobar, who also happens to be a Plant artist, and I are five weeks into our radio show on East Village Radio.  The show is called Delancey Music Service, on Mondays from 10pm to midnight.  For those of you that haven’t spent time in NYC, the name is a play on the legendary car service Delancey Car Service.  If you can’t catch a yellow cab, hit them up; they’re always five minutes away.  But I digress…in a nutshell, the show has been Eli and me playing a wide range of dance music, from disco to electro, and every once in a while we will be doing the hip-hop thing, as well as having guests and mixes by other djs.  If you can’t catch it live, the shows are streamable.  As of now, you can’t pause the stream, and if you stop it, it will take you back to the top, which is frustrating, but we’ve been assured that this will be addressed soon.  Spread the word y’all.
