The DJ line up includes Plant recording artist Tittsworth as a last minute special guest and also Dances With White Girls, Rok One and Dominique Keegan from The Glass. We will be giving away free Plant Music T Shirts and CDs. Hosted by Nicky Digital and The DKDS (aka Alex Jackson).
I first met the DKDS guys when they were hosting Nicky Digital’s Wednesday night parties at Ella. Then Nicky got them to come out to the Tittsworth video shoot for “Here He Comes,” and I got to know them a little better. But it wasn’t until I heard them DJ late night at Ella back in December that I heard how monstrous they were behind the tables. The crowd was going mental from the heavy beats, and the DKDS was throwing it right back at them.
Fast-forward a bit, and we finally have an exclusive mix from these Brooklynite cousins for you to get wild on. I think we will definitely be seeing more of the DKDS around the city this year – keep your eyes and ears open for this young and talented duo.
