Before the release of the Plant Music Scion CD Sampler (March 30) and Plant Music Scion Tour (April 2010) The Glass are heading out for a small run of dates in North America. Most of the dates include The Glass live and DJ sets by DJ Wool and Dominique. They will be performing unreleased material from their upcoming album (check out the new tracks on myspace) including ‘Four Four Letter’ which is featured on the upcoming Scion Plant Music Sampler.
The dates include a live and DJ set at Nicky Digital’s Ella Wed party, Blow Up Los Angeles and a DJ set at Love with Edbanger’s DJ Feadz and Crazy Baldhead. Plant is also offering two previously unblogged remixes of The Glass’ last single ‘Superhero’ by UK’s Luke Solomon (Dub) and NYC’s Ursula 1000.
Plant Music’s NROTB, who hail from Montreal, drop a new DJ mix to wet our appetites for their ‘Droplet’ EP coming out on Plant Music in February. The release features remixes by Autoerotique and Felix Cartel. Check out Mr. P and Mister Ed in the mix with this exclusive free DJ Mix

Our good friends from Dublin Arveene & Misc recently sent us their remix of Felix Da Housecat‘s ‘Kickdrum’ and we passed it on to Felix’s people. Felix liked the remix so much it got released on Nettwerk and was hyped on Rcrdlbl yesterday. Felix is an old friend of the Plant family since we booked him in the late 90s at Centro-Fly. We were proud to host his release party for ‘Kittenz & Thee Glitz’ at Plant Bar in the early 00′s which was rad. Felix likes to make party.

Kap10Kurt graced us with his presence last week at the Plant Music Holiday party and we are very pleased to offer his remix of Ocelot ‘Our Time’ out on Wall of Sound UK. Although Kurt did this remix over a year ago it only just now came out and it still sounds super fresh.
